The overall aims of the English language learning and teaching are:
- to provide every student with further opportunities for extending their knowledge and experience of the cultures of other people as well as opportunities for personal and intellectual development in the English medium; and
- to enable every student to prepare for the changing socio-economic demands resulting from advances in information technology; these demands include the interpretation, use and production of materials for pleasure and study in the English medium.
It is our aim to offer every student the opportunity to attain the maximum degree of bilingual competence of which he/ she is capable, with account being taken of the various constrains inherent in the situation. We believe all students coming to our school can be a diligent, cooperative, active and happy learner through effective learning and teaching.
